On September 18, the Feidian Chuangcheng technical team worked with a cable manufacturer in East China to review data recording and procedures for an XLPE cable thermal cycling test. Cable heating, temperature tracking and operating information were organized under a common test identifier.
The first task was to connect every recorded curve to the correct sample and sensor. Before testing, the site team checked the sample cable, reference cable and temperature sensor positions, then added connection notes so the conditions could be reconstructed when reviewing the data.
Connecting measurement points to the test record
During commissioning, the team reviewed manual operation and automatic cycle settings against the test requirements. Current, temperature and operating states were checked together. Operators could review trends at individual measurement points and add notes about changes made during the test.

After the test, current and temperature curves were filed with the sensor map and operating notes. Later batches can use the same identifiers for retrieval and comparison, with additional notes whenever a sample or connection changes.
For laboratories that regularly test materials and cables, a complete process record supports subsequent review. Feidian Chuangcheng will continue to refine the connection between instruments, control software and site operation through application feedback.
